How it started
Itstartedwithareallybadwebsite.
In early 2026, my dad needed a website for his family apartment complex in Fresno. He hired a local guy. Cost him a small fortune.
A month goes by. My dad's still haggling with him. Only the homepage is done. And the homepage was rough, to say the least — it looked like the kind of site where you'd find your credit card floating on some obscure website two months later. My dad's dropping serious money on a homepage that isn't finished, from a guy who won't finish it.
I told my dad I could build the whole thing in a week. He said fine. I delivered in three days. That site is oakbrookapartment.com. It went on to fill 26 of 56 units in the first four weeks after launch.
A few weeks later my cousin Mohamad reached out. He'd just gotten his contractor's license and needed a site for Argyle Construction. I turned it around in two days.
That's when I showed the work to Max. His take: ‘these are good. But if we're doing this for real, let's be different. Let's be real. Let's be human.’ Radin & Jamil Co was born that afternoon.
