The build

The reveal
A final walkthrough, a punch list we finish that week, and a 2-year workmanship warranty in writing.

Sam Whitaker started Ridgeline in 2009 with a used truck and a rule: never leave a homeowner wondering what's happening in their own house. 17 years later the crew is nine people — carpenters, a project lead, and an office of one — and the rule hasn't changed.
We take on a handful of projects at a time, on purpose. You get the same faces every morning, a site that's swept every night, and a builder who answers his phone.

They tarped and sealed everything before demo, and I mean everything — we cooked in the house the entire remodel. When the schedule slipped two days for cabinets, Sam told us before we noticed.
The daily photo texts became a family ritual. Our ADU permit took the city eleven weeks; Ridgeline used the time to pre-build and still hit the original move-in date for my mom.
Three bids, and theirs wasn't the cheapest — it was the only one that itemized everything. Zero change orders. Our kitchen came in at the number on page one.
